How to interpret project media as engineering evidence

There is a difference between what an image shows and what requires technical documentation.

1. Identify the subject and stage

Identify the visible component, machine, operation and work stage. For video, note shot timecodes and stage changes; edit order does not necessarily equal production chronology.

2. Separate levels of certainty

Distinguish direct observation, company explanation and technical inference. Do not derive dimensions or capacity without scale and records. Do not assign an image to a client or project without an order association.

3. Connect the story to a technical question

Ask what role the operation plays and what records are needed to evaluate it. A credible story links scope and evidence; it does not invent performance results or delivery dates from appearances.
